Single-Member LLC $600

Includes:

Multi-Member LLC $1,000 

Includes:

Registration of Foreign Entity $300 per state

There are also a couple of prerequisites for the Foreign Registration process; a) Obtain a Certificate of Existence from the state of origin - My Fee is a flat $150, and  b) Obtain a Registered Agent with a physical address inside the state - My Fee is $50 per state

Legal Fees listed above do not include filing fees charged by the government agency. All applications can be made by mail but some may be made online, which generally speeds up the process. Online filing/registration will require that I obtain your credit card information in advance. Please do not forward credit card information via email.

Relevant South Carolina Online Fees as of May 2017 are as follows:

  • Articles of Incorporation (Corporation) or Organization (LLC) for South Carolina - $135 (includes filing Initial Annual Report $25)

  • Entity Name Reservation $1

I'll meet with you and up to 2 other “business partners” for a private, one-on-one coaching session in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere (we’ll even meet at your office or home, if you’d like), to get down to business. If your needs don't fit into any of the categories below, just contact me and we'll discuss tailoring a program just for you. All One-on-One session prices include up to 3 people going into business together (yes, spouses count).

Brainstorming Session $225

 

Book Your Session If: You’re thinking about starting a business, you have a variety of ideas, passions, talents, industries, or business models you’re considering and you need direction and an experienced sounding board.

Length:  2-hour session 

What We'll Do:  Discuss your background, experience, strengths and weaknesses as they relate to running various businesses you’re considering.  We’ll brainstorm, delve into and analyze your ideas and options.  You’ll receive new options/ideas/paths to consider, learn where to focus your time and receive “homework” to help guide you along.  We’ll also discuss validating your idea(s) and give you a list of awesome resources.   

Get Moving $450

Book Your Session If:  You’re beyond brainstorming and have narrowed down the idea, which now needs refining – you’re ready to do this!

Length:  4-hour session

What We'll Do: Specifically, we’ll work on refining and determining next steps, work on your unique selling proposition, discuss minimum viable product/service, business validation and determine your method of validation.  We’ll also discuss sales channels, target market and how to reach them.

Get Moving…in a Big Way $675

 

Book Your Session If:  Same as above

    

Length:  6-hour session

    

What We'll Do:  Specifically, we'll refine and determine next steps, discussing all the above issues in more detail; spend more time refining your unique value proposition, narrowing down specifics of the business validation method (such as specific questions to ask or A/B landing page wording), determine your minimum viable product/service (if applicable), determine sales channel(s), refine your target market, determine your customer persona and discuss, in detail, how to reach them through various methods.

Business Preparation and Planning $450

Book Your Session If:  You’ve validated your business idea/product, know your target market, have a customer persona nailed down, realize your sales channel and have a grip on marketing methods.  Now you need to go through the business planning process for further enlightenment (or to learn to prepare a plan for your bank!) before starting the business.

Length:  4-hour session

What We'll Do: Specifically, we’ll discuss each aspect of the plan together while you make specific notes regarding further research you may need to do or questions you need to ask yourself.  You’ll leave with a good start and a path to the finish line.  You’ll also receive lots of free resources and sample business plans to review. This is an excellent way to get a handle on the financial aspects of the business and how much money you will need to get the business to break even.   

Business Preparation…with a Resulting Plan $675

Book Your Session If:  You’ve validated your business idea/product, know your target market, have a customer persona nailed down, realize your sales channel and have a grip on marketing methods.  Now, you not only need to go through the business planning process for further enlightenment, but you want to leave the session with a business plan.

Length: 6-hour session

 

What We'll Do: Specifically, we’ll discuss each aspect of the plan together (just as we do in the above session), but in this session you will actually put pen to paper, finish the research (as much as feasible) and end the session with a completed (or near-completed) business plan that will then be cleaned up and forwarded to you in a branded pdf package ready for sharing. 

Business Location $125/hour

What We'll Do:  Specifically, we’ll help you determine, based on a variety of factors including the type of business, licenses and taxes, market research and input by additional professionals, an optimal business location, including whether to lease or purchase.

Book Your Session If: You have a business plan and are working on your location.

    

Length:  2-hour session

What We'll Do:  Specifically, we’ll discuss the general principles of working “on not in” your business, the scalability of your business and how to create customer loyalty, growth and value by maintaining consistency (every customer experience identical and equally “delightful”) through implementation of specific procedures.  You’ll leave the session with an understanding of how to write and implement specific procedures for your business and how to hold employees accountable.  

Business Value Creation – “Working On, Not In Your Business” $675

Length:  6-hour session

    

What We'll Do:  Specifically, as above, we’ll discuss the general principles of working “on, not in” your business, the scalability of your business and how to create customer loyalty, growth and value by maintaining consistency (every customer experience identical and equally “delightful”) through implementation of specific procedures.  We’ll also discuss employee training and implementation, modification as a process, enforcement, employee accountability, organizational responsibilities, etc.  You’ll leave the session with a thorough outline of each of your specific business procedures.

Length:  2-hour session

    

What We'll Do:  We'll review all the major issues in the area of human resources and employment law. What you don't know can certainly trip you up so don't get caught unaware (it could cost you!). You'll learn the basics of both federal and state employment law, what payroll taxes are all about, what type of documentation you must obtain and retain on employees, how to hire and fire and even what to put in an employee manual.

It's All About Validation – In this workshop you'll learn the value of validation. Don't know what validation means? Then this workshop is for you!  Understand how to be as sure as possible that there is a market for your business or product. Learn different methods of validation and which ones are better for your business idea. Learn why validation should come before anything else you do.

Creating Your Unique Value Proposition – What is a unique value proposition and why do you need one? If you are starting a business or launching a product which is very similar or the same as another (or several!) then you need to understand and focus on a unique value proposition. Learn how to set your business apart and win over customers from the competition.

How to Build an Organization - From operations manuals and training to management and company culture and giving back to the community...what does it really take to build a lasting organization that serves you, the employees, customers and the community?
3 hours - $90 per person
Business Contracts and Relationships - What does it take to form a contract? Does it have to be in writing? When do you need a contract? Should a lawyer draft every contract? What about the online forms? What red flags or important issues should you look for before signing a contract? How should you keep up with all your contracts? Can you accidentally form a contract? How to most business folks mess up regarding contracts?
